'Synthetic Clothing' Warning
There is a significant burn risk associated with wearing athletic-type clothing containing nylon and polyester. The clothing, made by such companies like Nike and Under Armour, can melt to the skin when exposed to heat and flames, leading to horrific burns.

The US Marine Corps, for one, has banned certain athletic clothing containing polyester and nylon for Marines operating in combat zones. Please check with your military command before wearing such clothing.

Photo: A hard crust results from a burn test conducted in an effort to study how polyester materials react to fire.
