Defiance Fight Gear remains defiant in the face of a bleak
economy
Hillsborough, NJ - October 17, 2009 - Despite the economic
downturn that has impacted every sector of the economy,
Defiance Fight Gear announced they are issuing additional
checks, totaling $500, as part of their Remember the Fallen
fundraiser.
Dubbed "The One Million Dollar Challenge", Defiance Fight
Gear's Remember the Fallen fundraiser is a bold attempt to
raise one million dollars from the sale of a shirt honoring
the brave men and women that have given their lives in the
service of the United States Military.
The shirt design, which features the image of a clenched fist
holding a handful of dog tags, is a stark reminder of the
courageous individuals that gave their lives so that others
could be free. Below the image is the somber reminder, "All
gave some, some gave all."
Said company spokesman and project manager, Frank Ascione,
"Although the economy has slowed us down, it has not beaten us
down. We plan to continue our efforts to reach the one million
dollar goal. This latest donation brings us one step closer."
Defiance Fight Gear sets aside $10 from each sale of their
Remember the Fallen shirt for carefully chosen causes in three
categories: those helping active duty personnel, those
assisting combat wounded/disabled personnel, and those
providing support and assistance to the families of fallen
soldiers. In so doing, they are honoring the memory, service,
and sacrifice of our country’s heroes by providing assistance
to their families and fellow soldiers.
