Dozens of Taliban Killed in Attack on NATO Outpost Approximately 60-70
Taliban fighters affiliated with the Haqqani
network were killed after attacking Combat Outpost
Margah in Afghanistan near the border with
Pakistan. There were no NATO casualties. The 2010
photo from COP Margah (above) gives an indication
why the fight was so lopsided. The outpost has
clear fields of fire and is armed with weapons
such as the MK19 automatic grenade launcher as
