The Beirut Stamp Initiative has applied for a US Postage Stamp honoring the Beirut Memorial. The Postal Service's Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee will be reviewing the stamp application/proposal next weekend. We're hoping the committee will approve this long overdue stamp.
By the way, October 23rd is the 26th Anniversary of the Beirut Bombing that killed 220 Marines, 18 Sailors and 3 Soldiers.
